Sean Blake had a great day with Camila off Warrnambool – Camila landed this beautiful 81cm snapper in 42m, east of Warrnambool, while Sean had to get in the water to try and compete, grabbing a solid cray in the shallows closer to shore – we’ll call it a draw! Top day!
We took advantage of a family engagement in St Leonards yesterday by taking Cassius Cray along for the trip, a slow morning in a previously productive area out deep in the middle of Port Phillip Bay in 21m, then randomly stopped on the way in and had a bit of action with this snapper, 3 size gummies and some nice flathead. Admittedly, the most skillfull part of this fish was making it look impressive for the camera! It’s not that big! Meanwhile, Jacko and crew in the other Richardson Marine platey got their bag of a few hundred scallops.
