Before all this rough weather, Southern Coast Charters got up and running in their new 18 metre vessel, “Southern Explorer”, offering charters off Port Fairy and Warrnambool. This is one of the tuna they caught just before the weather turned bad. With better weather on the way, why not get on board?
This info is from their website:
“We are a family owned and operated business and operate Southern Coast Charters from the wharf in Port Fairy, in Victoria’s South West. Catering for Port Fairy, Warrnambool fishing charters. Offering Tuna / Game fishing charters, Reef and Deep Sea fishing charters, and seasonally whale watching from Port Fairy and Warrnambool. Also being equipped with 9 bunks Southern Coast Charters can easily cater for those wishing to embark on extended over night trips. King Island is on our agenda. Southern Explorer has gone through rigorous safety criteria, so she can withstand anything the southern ocean has to offer. We don’t set off if the sea is not suitable. Having a Gyro Stabilizer helps those susceptible to sea sickness. Licensed to carry up to 23 passengers”
