A few more reports from the weekend filtering through today.    Tony McIroy took his 670 Barcrusher “Poacher” to the shelf off Warrnambool and despite the wind had a good session with some nice blue eye, including one 6kg model and a bag of gemfish.  His mate fishing nearby also landed a couple of solid school sharks.

Wal Wynd fished with his mate Stewie off Peterborough yesterday and had a great day out landing 2 good sized school sharks with the best going 12kg cleaned. Wal also commended Stewie on his excellent gaffing technique.

Con from Hit n Run Charters ‘Apollo Bay’ put the Alston boys onto some nice bottom species including blue eye, gemfish and mako shark!

Yesterday was another great day for plenty of anglers trolling as the school tuna bite continued off Port Fairy in 60m and there’s half a dozen boats out again today. Still a few barrels at Portland too, this one below was caught earlier today.
