Thursday was a little quieter on the barrels at Port Mac but there was still at least one caught, and there were a few caught yesterday, including this one at 124.8kg by Amy Jobson which is a pending female 24kg line class world record. Mark Irvine took the great photo of them getting it into the boat, after the 5 and a half hour battle!
This 125kg one was caught by Phill Xuereb and Ryan Warren yesterday.
There have also been plenty of school tuna at Port MacDonnell – here are a couple of pics from Port MacDonnell Fishing Charters.
There were tuna in close straight off Warrnambool and between Port Fairy and Warrnambool yesterday. Tyson Halliday is pictured here with one he caught off Warrnambool, while Scotty Gray, and Jimmy Taylor with Leigh Anderson got amongst them as well, launching at Port Fairy.
