Fine conditions this week have given anglers the opportunity to head offshore and despite the cold winter days the fishing has been excellent. Dan Hoey from Salty Dog fishing charters fished with regular customer Steve yesterday and caught some nice snapper and school bluefin tuna fishing out deep.

Scott Gray from the Tackle Shack went back out jigging in 70-100m of water and caught a great mixed bag of tasty reef species including sea perch, red snapper, pinky snapper, latchet and some big calamari squid. The boys also got their bag of tuna pretty easily in 65m on the way out.
