With the fine weather predicted for the weekend there are plenty of options. The occasional mulloway continues to be caught in the Hopkins River this week and there’s still plenty of tuna out wide in the 60-70m of water off Port fairy.

Mick and Jesse Allardyce took the Seacruiser 4800 Bulldog out for a run this week on the western lakes for some nice rainbow to 1.5kg and then had a quick trip out on the tuna off Port Fairy catching plenty of school bluefin to 8kg on the troll. Mick reports plenty of life out there and the boys even managed to spot a 2m great white shark basking on the surface!
