Tuna are still holding strong offshore with plenty of fish being caught. Magnet Charters have put their clients onto some great fish recently.

The guys down at Port Macdonnell Charters had a great trip over the weekend. Despite the conditions, a great mixed bag of Snapper, Knife Jaw and Gummies was caught out wide. On the way home they even bumped into a school of Tuna to top off the trip.

Dylan from the Tackle Shack fished the Hopkins and found stacks of Bream and Estuary Perch spread around the estuary and keen to smack lures. Fish either side of 40cm have been going well on lures such as Zman Grubz, Zman Slim Swimz and Jackall Chubby’s.

Some awesome Mulloway have been caught in the rivers of late. Both Hopkins and the lower Glenelg have been producing some great fish up to 80cm with frequent reports of much larger fish being lost. Lures such as Zman Slim Swimz and Storm GT Searchbait’s have been seeing the action for lure fisho’s while live mullet, fresh cut salmon and pilchards have been the go for bait fisho’s.
