Good to see tuna and albies at the cleaning tables at Portland today. Port MacDonnell again saw good numbers of both bluefin and albacore today. The Portland fish were west of the Horseshoe, while Port Mac saw them caught in 170m (info and pic courtesy Matt Hunt)
Thanks to Scott Gray for this report: The trout have been quiet at Lake Purrumbete for the last few weeks, but the redfin have been plentiful. While the average size is between 15-30cm there have been some nice larger fish to 37cm amongst anglers’ catches. Most fish have been taken in around 10-20m of water on live minnow and gudgeon.
