Well, tuna season as we know it seems to have started!  Albacore and good numbers of tuna out at the shelf, at all ports – Port MacDonnell, Portland, and Port Fairy, not sure if anyone ventured out wide off Warrnambool but no doubt they’ll be well spread now for a while.

Albies and tuna out wide off Port Fairy as well, but while there are fish in close it is hard to drive past them!  John Cahill of Ebb Tide Adventures fishing with Kyle from Jaks Lures found them finicky in close, dropping one but eventually being rewarded with this.  11102970_1123432051006241_884485568054081841_o
