A day out of the box yesterday, heading out in the afternoon on Cassius cray we had 5 divers, all getting our 2 crays each then headed out for a fish and were greeted by tuna not far from shore.  For a few hours it was about as good as it gets with tuna taking trolled lures, cast stickbaits, soft plastics, and a few of the other boats got some jigging as well.  We ended up with half a dozen, dropping at least that many again.  All the other boats in the area did well, with the crew of “Eagle Eye” landing 25!   There was a great mixture of fish back at the ramp – Trav and Darcy Graham caught some ripper school shark before they hit the tuna, Jason Russell fishing solo opened up his tuna account for the year also, and the Intruder crew had a big day also, catching a few and tagging a few.  Some kingfish came in as well, and the harbour at Portland was a busy place!IMG_8663 IMG_8664 IMG_8665 IMG_8669 IMG_8684 IMG_8672 IMG_8678 IMG_8680 IMG_868110302353_10153568359132729_5202491863357379565_n 10426527_10153266485767985_4684464100838082357_n 10955693_10153266128647985_8725369613631816736_nHere’s Brent with one that he caught:IMG_2701 copy
