A few of the Port Fairy boys took two boats out today. Andrew Buck, Cameron Ordner and Shane Cromie landed 22 tuna whilst David Jehu with Graham Brown landed 10 before heading in early. All their fish were caught near Julia Percy Island and were all blind strikes except for a 4-way on birds diving. Most were released. Here are some of Cameron’s photos, from a great day when many others struggled.
A few fish were tagged in the SWAGC, the Intruder crew had a mako of about 60kgs around their boat that momentarily took a bait a couple of times but didn’t hook up. Jason Russell got a few tuna off Port Fairy as well.
Port MacDonnell Fishing Charters had 8 tuna today.
