2021 Stabicraft 2250 Ultra Centrecab Sportfish

16 Jan 24
The 2250 Ultra Centrecab is one of Stabicraft's most popular models and one of our favourites; the walk around cab maximises accessibility and fishing room whilst still offering a spacious interior; and the ability to run a 300hp motor with a 300l tank is handy too. This 2250 headed across to South Australia and has been used for exactly what it was built to do; pot crays and fish the coastal reefs and offshore regions. To start, the rig arrived with a number of Stabi options (rear clears, underwater lights, Ultralon flooring, injected foam in pontoons, electric motor mount, belting up paint) before we added the beautiful Suzuki DF300BTX and sat it on a custom Easytow  aluminium trailer with 14" alloy upgrade and Boat Buckles. A Boat Catch also makes the whole launch and retrieve process much simpler. GME sorted the communications with a GX700 VHF radio and a GX400 27HMz radio with matching aerials and bases. There was a pretty extensive electronics kit installed, with a Garmin GPSMap 8416 and 8410 head units (each with additional mapping), TM275LHW 1kw transducer, and a Garmin GMR18 radar. As mentioned, this boat is used for cray potting in SA so our favourite RL Welding pot puller was added. Hella lights lit up the deck at night, and a Minn Kota Ulterra 112lb 72" motor (with Quick Release bracket, Railblaza support and genuine waterproof plug) which was powered by an Enerdrive 100ah 36V battery package with Enerdrive charger.
