They say mates who fish together stay together; and what better way to do it than out of brand new, matching Stabicraft 1850 Fishers! These custom Fishers are finished in a sleek custom black paint, matching perfectly with the Suzuki 140hp outboards, and will create an imposing presence whilst out on Port Phillip Bay and Western Port where the pair hope to tangle with whiting, snapper and squid out of their new rigs.
Starting at the transom, the Fishers are powered by Suzuki DF140 fly-by-wire outboards; beautifully quiet, effiecient, reliable and powerful, with the Precision Control rigging for precise adjustments and lightning fast response. Corner snapper racks from Bell Marine were fitted to the transom corners, and U-Dek flooring covered all vertical surfaces on the floor and gunnels for protection and grip. The rear of the 1850 was optioned up to mount a factory fitted live bait tank with a sliding lid and welded rod holders, a real must have on these boats. A dual battery system, with our factory re-wire, is housed beneath this fishing station.
The cabin had all the essentials fitted, and of course matching; from Garmin sounders, Ritchie compasses, GME communications and Scanstrut phone chargers. The bow of both boats had a Lonestar anchor winch fitted with a SARCA anchor (very good upgrade, we cannot recommend these winches enough!), with a Stedi lightbar also mounted above for night runs back to the ramp. The whole rig rides aboard our favourite trailer, the custom Easytow tandem, which is designed specifically for these hulls using the CAD designs, and is fitted with fully welded skids from front to rear, making for super simple launch/retrieves (especially when coupled with the fitted Boat Catch & Boat Buckles), as well as a very durable and solid trailer.
