Most anglers who have been fishing the Hopkins recently would of seen an abundance of those big long arches on their sounder screens, especially along the deeper edges and holes in the Ski Lane and Jubilee. Finding these Mulloway has been a relatively simple task, but getting the bite has proven time consuming for most. Dan Mackrell managed to land this quality fish yesterday while dredging a hardbody over a mud flat on 3lb leader. Other anglers have also seen some success fishing cut Mullet and plastics in the 3″ range. With the moon almost full, the next few days are going to be ideal for putting in a session or three in search of the elusive Mulloway.
