Sales Coordinator

Are you a passionate boater or angler, with sales experience and excellent organisational skills?

 

Richardson Marine is seeking an enthusiastic sales coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for effectively coordinating and administering all activities, transactions and fitout related to purchase and delivery of our range of boats, motors and trailers, engaging in customer contact and liaison, coordinating vessel shipping and transport, and managing fitout of new boats within our workshop. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for sales, exceptional organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail to uphold our standard of excellence in customer service and satisfaction. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth, cultivate strong customer relationships, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Our comprehensive tackle store proudly stocks leading brands, providing tailored solutions to meet the specific demands of our locale, complemented by expert guidance. Our state-of-the-art workshop is outfitted with diagnostic, service, and fabrication equipment, ensuring top-tier support for all outboard needs. The sales division offers an impressive array of vessels from esteemed manufacturers such as Stabicraft, Quintrex, and Seacruiser, alongside Suzuki outboard motors and trailers, embodying our commitment to excellence in both product and service offerings.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

 

  • Provide our valued customers options to assist in choosing their new or used outboard motor, boat and trailer package.

  • Quoting, pricing and packaging of products.

  • Customer contact (including follow up, updates and maintaining customer relationships).

  • Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate incoming shipments or transport of boats and trailers.

  • Work alongside workshop technicians to ensure a high quality of work is maintained.

  • Maintain relationships with our suppliers.

  • Gain familiarity with our range of accessories and electronics to provide customer guidance and on water support if required.

  • Demonstrate a polite, keen and knowledgeable persona to assist people of all ages.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

 


Successful candidates will be

  • Dedicated, well organised, with excellent communication skills and friendly persona

  • Previous sales experience required, workshop management also preferred but not essential

  • Experience with boat sales not essential, all training will be provided to build your knowledge base

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Victorian drivers licence required and preferably Victorian marine licence
