The Hopkins River continues to produce some great fishing at present. The Warrnambool and District Angling Club and Allansford Angling Club held their final comps on the river last Sunday and found some nice fish around the Kinnears Hut area and the Biscay. Pictured is good customer Dudley Wright who took out the heaviest fish in the Warrnambool Angling clubs comp which weighed 1.268kg and was 1 of his 2 fish over a kg. He landed them on Zman Slim swimz in Bloodworm colour and to say he was happy was an understatement. It’s great to see blokes stick at something new and get results.
