There have been a few nice gummies around, pictured is the catch from Ash Watts off Port Fairy on Thursday.
Aaron Mitchell got into the nice chilly Port Fairy water on Friday evening just before dark and got this cray of 1.8kgs.
The tuna have been a bit slower this week with the current moon phase, but a few have been caught, mostly out at the shelf but some in closer.
Albacore and striped tuna have been in several of the catches, pictured below is Dave with one of each, caught about 35km off Port Fairy.
With the slower tuna action, some have tried different alternatives, such as this Tassie Trumpeter by Tim Clark.
Earlier this week Peter & Helen Bartlett had a top day on the albies off Port Fairy in 1400m, catching 12 and keeping 5 for a feed.
